Name: Sensei Wayne

Position: Director and Senior Pediatric Occupational Therapist
Background: Wayne Centra is a graduate of Pacific University's Occupational Therapy Program with a Masters in Occupational Therapy. He is a pediatric Occupational Therapist and founded Karate For All in 2001. His experience includes over 30 years of martial arts experience and a black belt degree. With over 10 years of Pediatric Occupational Therapy experience, he has been instructing students in Martial Arts for 25 years, at colleges, schools and rehabilitation centers. Wayne combines his background in martial arts with his professional discipline of occupational therapy. He has instructed at Children's Hospital of Orange County since 2001 and is now teaching in Tustin.

Name: Sensei Jason

Position: Instructor
Background: Jason Tse is a graduate of California State University Dominguez Hills Occupational Therapy Program with a Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy. He has over 18 years of martial arts experience and has a black belt degree. Jason was awarded volunteer of the year at the Children's Hospital of Orange County and has been an instructor at Karate For All since 2004.

Name: Sensei Jeff

Position: Lead Instructor
Background:  Jeff Do is currently a bio-chem undergraduate at Cal State Long Beach. He has a black belt in Tae Kwon Do and has been practicing for about 9 years. He signed on to KFA 6 years ago. His future goals is to become a physician assistant. In his free time he enjoys road trips.

Name: Sensei Mike

Position: Instructor
Background: Mike Edwards is a graduate of Vanguard University with a Bachelors Degree in Biology. He has over 10 years of Martial Arts experience and has achieved the rank of 1st degree black belt in Taekwondo. Mike has a calling upon his life to help kids with disabilities and has been under the tutelage of Sensei Wayne for almost 4 years. He was first introduced to KFA while it was located at CHOC hospital and hopes to one day become a full time Sensei.

Background: I started volunteering in April 2010, not really sure of what career I wanted to pursue. After a long trip to India, I began to volunteer 4-5 times per week, and I also began shadowing Wayne for his private OT treatments. I now want to pursue a career in Occupational Therapy because of this wonderful program, and I am currently working as one of the office Secretaries. I hope to build all the skills necessary to one day be an OT and perhaps to open my own clinic as well.

Background: I started KFA in the Summer of 2009 as a volunteer. During my time as a volunteer, I learned so much about what this organization is about. I also learned how much fun it is to help kids learn karate. Although I am not pursuing Occupational Therapy, I see how beneficial it is for the children in the program.
