Karate For All is a Community Occupational Therapy based Martial Arts Program in Orange County, developed specifically for children and adults with special needs. Using Occupational Therapy knowledge and skills, KFA combines the discipline of martial arts to achieve motor, cognitive, social and processing goals.

Each class is instructed by Pediatric Occupational Therapists that hold Black Belt Degrees in:

     Shōtōkan Karate

     Shitō-Ryū Karate

     Tae Kwon Do

     Jujitsu.

Our Occupational Therapists have been trained in typical and atypical development, Sensory Integration, and Neuro-development Treatment.

In addition to occupational therapy benefits, KFA is a non-violent conflict resolution that uses assertive social skills, conducted in a safe environment for children to gain health, confidence, and the ability to use self-defense.

Our Martial Arts Program treats the following diagnoses and deficits: Autism, Asperger’s, Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder, Apraxia of Speech, Cancer, Cerebral Palsy, Developmental Delays, Down Syndrome, Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis, Sensory Processing Disorder, Genetic Disorders, Vestibular Disorders, Cystic Fibrosis, Obesity, Speech Impairments, Social Skills Deficit, Psychosocial Conditions, Congenital Limb Defects, Dyspraxia, Developmental Language Disorder, Visually Impaired, Fragile X Syndrome, and many more!
